It’s been a crazy season since my last update. We moved into temporary lodgings, closed on our new (to us) house, and then moved again! I am happy to say that we are all in, mostly settled, and construction for new display items is underway. Without giving too much away, I am building a large candy cane, as the one I had at the old house garnered more comments than any other display item. Unfortunately, the tree it was made of couldn’t come with me, so a stand alone one is in the works:

I am also adding larger quantities to some existing items, and a few other surprises, as well. I am adding one new song, which is about half sequenced. I may also add one or two more fun Christmas pop culture bits to fill the spaces between the songs. All in all, I am excited for the extra space, and with how the display layout has come together. Still some details to iron out, but we are definitely moving forward, and hope to have the kick-off Thanksgiving night, as usual.
