I am making small, but sure, strides forward in preparation for this year’s display.
As of tonight, I *think* I have all the audio picked out, with a total of 28 tracks for this year, including both new music and pop culture bits. The show playlists will vary this year, rather than being the same night after night. I plan to have a ‘standard’ playlist, as well as at least two more sets for other ‘special’ nights.
Now I will get my ‘profile’ built for my sequencing software. This file includes all of the display elements, as well as their channel assignments. I will need to have my full display, including new items, all basically figured out to put it together. Once this is complete, I can transfer last year’s sequences over into the new layout, edit them, and then start into the new music. I have several instrumental songs to add this year, which seem to eat up a lot of clock for me. I also have an acapella song to work on this year that should make for a fun sequence.
