Some of the new controller pcbs and parts have arrived, and I had time to assemble three of them this week: two Ren SS24’s and one Ren SS16. In the picture with them is an eight channel RenSS8, which I purchased already assembled by someone who was changing the direction of their display and no longer needed it.
New Renards
These add another 72 channels to the display, bringing me up to a total 312 so far. I still have two SS24 boards and two SS8 boards and the required parts for assembly all on order, so I will have 376 channels at my disposal this year. This will be nice for me, as there is a good chance I will have a new canvas to display on this year. The house is back on the market, and if all goes well, we will be in a new house for this year’s show. We will keep this page updated if and when our display address changes.
